Alyssa Roberts, DVM
Dr. Alyssa Roberts is the owner of Eastman Animal hospital and a native of Midland County. She has been a horse enthusiast since early childhood. She grew up riding and showing her horses in many disciplines including hunt seat, western pleasure, eventing and dressage.
In 2008 Dr. Roberts graduated with honors from Franciscan University, majoring in Biology. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University in 2013. During her education, she traveled to different clinics across the country to study under different veterinarians including the lead veterinarian for the US Eventing Team.
Dr. Roberts shares her time between Eastman Animal Hospital and her All Equine Clinic equine ambulatory practice. As a veterinarian, she brings the latest research and knowledge to both clinic’s teams to continue to provide outstanding care for your companions. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and riding her horses.
Janet Sherwood, DVM
Dr. Janet Sherwood received her Undergraduate at the University of Maryland with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida. She has a special interest in Dermatology. Dr. Sherwood also has a deep love of Shetland Sheepdogs, which she owns and runs in agility training and showing. She also enjoys spending time traveling and going on walking vacations with friends.
Kathi Betke, RVT
Kathi graduated from Yuba College in Marysville, California, in 1986 with an Associate Degree in Animal Health Technology. She came to Michigan in 1993 where she worked at West Branch Veterinary Services as a Mixed Animal Technician. Kathi has been working with us since 2012, wherein she has become a vital part in our daily functions with the doctors and instrumental in maintaining the clinic and inventory. When she is not at work, she enjoys horseback riding, camping, hiking, painting, drawing and hanging out with her variety animals. She is also beginning agility with two of her dogs.
Julie Linton, Receptionist
Julie and her husband Alex grew up in Sanford Michigan and have two sons Evan and Ethan. When not at the hospital or a sporting event cheering on one of her boys Julie enjoys hiking the beautiful Michigan forests with her Aussie sapphire and her Black Lab Ammo. She also enjoys rabbit hunting running/training and competing in field trials with her beagles.
